JOD for playing out most of game with a corky that was Clearly hampering him. 3 efforts in one passage and a never give up attitude.

No votes from me this week but isn't it fantastic that people who live and breath the dogs have a named almost the entire team collectively in their 5->1. A pivotal table that shows a committed side

Sorry, bit of a rant here, but well justified.

Here are the Coaches Votes by both coaches for the game

7 Marcus Bontempelli (WB)

5 James Harmes (WB)

5 Tom Liberatore (WB)

4 Tim English (WB)

4 Ed Richards (WB)

3 Joel Freijah (WB)

2 Matthew Kennedy (WB)

FMD! Are they on drugs? Bont plays less than 3 quarters, and in the first he had less than a handful of possessions, and he gets BOG. He had a very good second quarter, but so did many others who actually played out the game.

Against the Lions, the Dogs held a 39 point lead in the 3rd quarter, yet only one player, Richards, gets a measly single vote, and the chip scab Hipwood gets BOG who didn't actually appear until the 3rd and got junk time goals.

I used to value the Coaches Award higher than the Brownlow but after the Lions game and this Giants game, the Ching demands more respect.

Rant over.

I thought Bont was best on. The game was done at 3 quarter time. He had 22 possies 15 contested 8 clearances and 4 direct goals assists. Freijah had 4 Bont 5 Richards 6 in the first quarter

Influence over the result, not necessarily stats and he was extremely influential in 3/4s of footy. Interesting that the coaches could see English and Libba so differently.
