Alves cant celebrate the way birssy does with his hands in the air thats birssys trademark.Theres nothing wrong with the way alves celebrates he can celebrate like that all the time if we are winning and hes kicking goals and playing well.

I am waiting for the first Aussie Rules player to rip his shirt off and wave it round his head - it might as well be Alves.

Then there is the mid-air somersault a la Nathan Blackwell, and the poncy striking a pose of the European soccer players.

On reflection, the Brett Lee pumps win hands down.
