Chisel in Melbourne

Anyone going to see cold chisel while they are in melbourne? Im goin to see them 2moro night(tuesday,thinks its now ticked over to Tuesday), cant wait.Been wanting to see them live for a long time after seeing footage of the last stand.

the best $100 dollars i have ever spent, was an absolutly awesome show, they dedicated when the war is over to hookesy and it was close to the best song of the night, i missed the first 30 min but my god it was the best show ever.

except barnes thru a major hissfit tantrum before they went on and left the venue threatening to not do the gig..of course he did come back..pretty funny though..spinal tap would have been proud..i just hate it!!!

Havnt heard that story about him cracking the sads. Well Yabba the first 30 mins were good, but it got a lot better half way through the first set and the rest of the show was just ****en electric. The tribute to David was awesome and the show was just brilliant, they are still rockin and still true icons of rock music.

These days thats considered cheap for a concert.The "teeny-boopers" that come over and tour charge well over a hundred bucks and the show only goes for 90 minutes [at most].

Last nights show went for 3 hours and you were sitting up close,no matter where you were seated.

It was a great gig.

maybe his rider olives didnt have those pepper things in every one of em...or he had square bits of ham and cheese on round crackers?

barnes is well known for being a drama queen before gigs..another old story is he demanded a golf buggy or he wouldnt go on stage and again left the venue til he got one..not easy to buy a golf buggy at night but they ended up getting one and he kept it..

I'm probably spoilt in the fact that my favourite bands tour and charge less than $40 for a gig, which is more in my price range.
