Some guy at Maccas felt that it was necessary to point out to me that I was Asian.

".... Really?!"
this is when you have top jump on top of it and say somthing silly like "You rekon they have sweet and sour chicken?" or somthing stupid like that, then theyll leave yo alone.:thumbsu:

Yeah it was good!

And no, no footballer spottings. But my friend did see Trent West.
See i told you the cup was shit.:D

Nah I was walking out, so all I did was yeah, give him a you're-an-idiot look and say "Really?!?!?!"

Nah the cup was okay. Would've been more fun if the weather were better. Think I still got sunburnt anyway though.

hate blackadder??

it is better than the young ones and one of the best british comedies of all time.

i suggest you go back and watch them again, just to make sure you have not lost your sense of humour.

I guess I can't really say I hate it.. I've only seen bits and pieces of it and when I was really young. Just never got into it.

Best British comedies from highest to um... not so high
- Fawlty Towers
- The Office
- Young Ones
- Bottom
- Extras.

(Honourable mentions to Mr Bean and Keeping Up Appearances)

Imo of course.

God I watch too much TV. :D

I did this trivia night last week at my school and there was a whole category on TV themes. Everyone on my table was like "wtf?", while I knew 8/10. :o

I know nothing about the Simpsons. One more assignment and presentation, then one week of study and 4 exams in the weeks following the study. Sounds great huh.

Did you know? That House guy is actually British. He did a cameo in 'The Young Ones", playing Lord Snot in the University Challenge Episode, IIRC.

Close.

Stephen Fry played Lord Snot - It's me isn't it?

Hugh Laurie played Lord Monty - Will fifty pounds do?

With Emma Thompson and Ben Elton playing the other Footlights College contestants.

"It's not an automatic." ;)

Oh dear.. "The Simpsons isnt funny"... now I've heard everything.

We'll have to agree to disagree. :)

And to be clear, YES the simpsons does suck NOW. Circa 1995-2001 are the years I'm talking about. And I agree with you Fugs, the movie is ok. But then again my expectation weren't that high to begin with.

Hehe, I stand corrected. :thumbsu:

Classic. :D

i agree, it was once cutting edge, now been overtaken by the likes of "south park" and "drawn together".

And don't forget the LEADER of all things 'cutting edge'... SEA PATROL!!!!

Hey anyone catch Summer Heights High last night?! I felt so sorry for Jonah. They should make a new show about him.. and his new life overseas.

I tend to watch Family Guy more, I guess because it's more recent (and because of Stewie :thumbsu:). But the best Simpsons stuff - I guess the period you're talking about Shell - is still awesome. Especially the series that had the X-files and Frank Grimes episodes, 2 of my all time favourites.

My favs:
- Pool episode ('Is it a pool yet?')
- Elephant episode ('Lisa a man with alot of Ivory is less likely to kill Stampy, than a man with no ivory')
- Halloween where they send up "The Shining" ('Dont you mean "Shining?".. "Shhhh you wanna get suuued?")
- Lemon Tree ep ('LOOK, Someones attractive cousin!!!')
- And the xmas episodes ("Marge.. Is Lisa at Camp Grenada??")
- And the one they send up "Cape Fear" ('When I stamp on your foot and say "hello Mr Thompson", you'll smile and nod'.... 'gotcha'... 'HELLO MR THOMPSON'... 'I think he's talking to you')

:D:D

Hey I got this email today… Post your answer here. There is a prize for the funniest/ strangest/ scariest answer. (Not really, but go along with it :D)

Read this question, come up with an answer and then scroll down to the
bottom for the result. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads.
No one I know has gotten it right-including me.

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met this guy whom she
did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much her dream guy
she believed him to be just that! She fell in love with him right
there, but never asked for his phone number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

Question:
What is her motive in killing her sister?
