It's the greenies cars that get me... the amount of miles that the parts for a Toyota Prius for example, do in order be produced more than offset the benefits of an environmentally friendly car. the raw materials get shipped all around the world. The electric batteries have nickel mined in canada, which gets turned into a battery in Norway... then shipped to japan to be put in the car, which has been produced with raw metals mined all over the world.... Just so that the car can then be shipped all over the world... USA/Britain/Australia.... The carbon footprint on the car is huge even before it drives off the dealership
