summed it up right there... clearly different generations... it was the first game console I ever had and the memories.. oh the memories.

I could ramble on about so... so... so many more games I liked on N64.

on a completely different tangent...pitfall, river raid and enduro on the artari2600 were amazing (for the times).

commodore64 was also crazy good, load a cassette and wait 10 mins for a game to load.

coz there was no argument, not a link or anything.

the argument was hardly ground breaking stuff, and I blame Turbocat.. for starting this.

All that was argued was the most correct name to refer to each sport, hardly a university thesis requiring a plethora of referencing.

any hoo I quite frankly cbf having this argument again, Circling arguments are quite tiresome actually.

yep, basically league (working class) is an offshoot of union (upper class) but both still rugby and referred to as league and union respectively.

they also noted that some tweed jacket/north shore types may hold fast to union being the true rugby but that they were in the extreme minority.

Hardly, that's how it was back then. She has spent her whole life as a stay at home mother. then used her 'retirement' years travelling around the world (still blames me for having to cancel a trip overseas as I was born 7 weeks early, and 2 hours before they were meant to leave for Scotland)

The world has changed from this time and ideology but that's how it was, and if anything people of her generation still believe women shouldn't work

All I'll say is nothing you or anyone else has argued has been compelling enough as an argument, to convince me otherwise

I can't believe people these days still think that stay at home mothers don't work hard! And that they never used to work hard back 30, 40, ....100 years ago!
I don't think I've met any/many stay at home mothers- of any age- that didn't work hard...and those from 50 years ago probably worked harder than businesswomen work these days!

Lets face it. The best toast is a quickly thrown together beaten egg.
A few herbs. Salt pepper. Some cinnamon.
Dip a fat piece of crusty bread in and cook in butter.

Some shaved prosciutto over the top. Vine ripened tomatoes.
Sprinkle of parmesan.

Game over.
