There were a few fires yesterday mainly scrub fires.
WINDY weather has kept firefighters on their toes with fires in Anakie, Steiglitz and Torquay.
A watch and act message was issued to residents living near a small bushfire that started in Selway’s Lane, Anakie on Sunday afternoon.

Forgot to tell you Tom, I didn't walk through the park on my way home from work 'just in case' of creepy crawlies.
Stuck to the concrete footpaths-made it home without any nips or bites lol!

I don't.Way back when i used to live by a big house that had tree's all around it that's where the wolfies lived.they used to crawl over to my house at one stage we had 4 wolfies inside i remember tying to get them with the broom and
they trying to jump on me.

I have an understanding with a whopping big black spider living under a basket in my bathroom. When I sweep, he moves to the corner of the room, then I lift the basket when I'm done and under he goes. He's been there for months. I reckon I could get him to pose for a pic, but don't want to freak you out Karen.

Anyway, don't be scared of spiders Karen. Here's a cute pic I posted a while back, he may help change your mind (just don't focus on his many eyes, look at his cute lil hat instead );
