My mate was set for a 4 week European holiday, with bookings to stay in 10 or so cities. Amsterdam was first up, and that's where he stayed for the whole 4 weeks. Think the 'cafes' were right up his alley.

On another note, my bloody brand new smart phone has gone forward 3 hours instead of one. Thought I'd had the mother of all sleep-ins.

that seems a tad excessive:D:D...at least my trips were broken up over a 2 year period and it was only an hour or so flight.

more than shitful, it sucks...went to bed at around 1am, but really 2am and woken up pretty shitful.

but it is over and now we reap the benefits.

I deliberately went to bed early because of it. Woke up at 5am. Decided I better sleep another hour or so.

Oh yeah. No I was just trying to help the body clock adjust.
Nothing worse than the Monday morning after daylight savings has kicked in.

My kids will be stuffed tomorrow.

as bt explained, us oldies take a while to adjust...i remember the days of drinking to 3am and getting up at 10am right as rain.

i effectively lost and an hour and a half as i slept in an extra 30 mins due to the body clock...when we switch back thought, it is great, an extra hour of drinking.:D:D
 
Fml Monday is going to be so awesome [sarcasm] going around geelong replacing every card from the wallet I lost last night. **** I hope someone has handed it in to the police. :( :cry:

That really sucks NSFB. Did you have much cash in it also?
Actually, scrap that, doesn't matter. Same thing happened to me a while back, and losing the cash didn't bother me. Took ages to replace the cards.
I hope someone honest found it, and it's waiting at the police station for you. Good luck,

Just found it on top of the shower (not that I remember being there last night:() only 2 minutes ago :) but have already cancelled my bank card... sigh.

Thank you for giving me something more humiliating than my over 28s night (that I went to last night in the hope of hearing some old disco :$:oops::rolleyes:) to watch today.
It's the best-worst show I've ever seen. Have been watching it all afternoon. Hooked!

Surely going to an over 28s is better than hanging out with a bunch of 16-21 year olds when you're late 30s-early 40s?

I remember going to a Foals gig a few years ago and I felt seriously old.

The majority of the crowd was so busy taking selfies and filming the gig I had to wonder if they'd lost the ability to "live in the moment".
