Depends where you like to sit. I’m behind the goals near cheer squad it’s hard to see up the other end though but I just watch the screen if I can’t see something.
I’ve always loved the wing, but I don’t know if I want to sit in the new fancy stand, I cringe everytime I look at it knowing what it used to be and all the memories I had in it.

Might settle with the hickey stand, but the sun is a pain in the ass. That would be where the general admission is this year?

Not sure. Might need to ring the club and ask. I don’t get sun or rain so I’m lucky.

Used to have no choice where I sat, make sure you would bring your poncho.

That reminds me, I read a story about a game back in 2004 vs Fremantle Rd 20 at k park, quoted the coldest day in Geelong, 6 degrees. I don’t recall being there, was anyone there?

Anyways I’m off to sleep. Gotta get up at 11am for tennis! Rafa plays tomorrow so gotta be up and going for that match!
10am! For pre-match.

I actually love the pre-match for the tennis. Never used to watch it, and never watch AFL pre-match couldnt be less interested.

But imho Tony Jones does a great job. It's informative but also light/entertaining which is approps for the Aus Open.

Oh my god. Yes, I was there. And I almost got hypothermia.

I also recall a brutal game v North the rain was horrendous. Didnt go to that one.

I finally found someone! I didn’t go ha ha, my dad and uncle went to that game.

But I’ve watched the game back and holy moly, what a mud slide! I also think they were building the hickey stand at the time, which is cool.

Yeah it was without doubt the worst conditions we've watched footy in.

Honestly, ever since Etihad opened I've been reticent (is that the right word <?)... reluctant to go to games in the open in the rain.

I just cannot be f’ed and Etihad being undercover has spoilt us. And by us, I mean me.
I like Etihad for cricket and footy, I remember when they first opened it and I thought at one point that we were gonna move all our home games back in 2000.

I've always loved Etihad.

No idea what ppls problems with it is, except of course the players + the surface.

As a spectator the ground is brilliant. No bad view from anywhere in that ground.

My dad hates it, I asked why. He said the vibe.

Tell you what, a shithole away game was princes park. Holy moly.

I’ve been to princes park 4 times to watch us play, one was Buddha Hockings last game (had to).

That was a sad day, also went the week before for his last ever game in geelong.

Think we got smashed by 70 odd points and you were scared to leave the stadium after the Milburn incident.

I won’t be watching pre show. I’m watching SF v Cowboys till Midday now. So will miss the first matches though they’re usually the WTA which I’m less interested in, no offence though and I still like to watch the women in slams but prefer the best of 5 with the men!
