Ok I was chatting to a femme friend of mine and we were discussing the taboo subject of sideburns. She told me they are not fashionable at all..even when you are trying to be cool.

I disagreed with her as I have a special place in my heart for good ol fashion chops. But lately since I have gone the bold step and grown myself a nice set of chops, females my age seem to not want to know me.

I only get advances from women who are 35+ (must be because they grew up in their teens around chops). That doesn't bother me as I have bedded a few of these more experienced types. But I am 27 and want a funky gf...and living in Sydney there are heaps.

Now ladies do u think chops are a no no? Below is a picture of a handsome young man. What do u think?

Nice Chops there.

A couple of years ago (last year of high school) myself and a few friends had a facial hair bet going. My mate grew a pr0n moustache, another guy tried to grow a beard (without much success) and i was left with the sideburns. They were a masterpiece, and very popular with the lads. Unfortunately the fella's were the only people who respected how much time and effort they took.

I was a shattered man when i took them off, i sympathise with you burns-brother.

During my Elvis-loving years (age 8-12) I used to have great sideburns.....very funky.....and I was quite popular too But I guess when you reach a certain age they lose their allure.....so I ended up getting rid of them and I support your decision to do the same.
