Sounds like we're ahead on points without CC kicking a ball in anger - and that's what I want to see, a bit of agro!

I'm so hanging out for tomorrow night I think I'll sleep in my car.

Agree with others looked totally disinterseted.
But one preseason game into the season is far to early to pass judgement.
That said i doubt we will be singing out for his services back at the Blues at any stage during 2007.

No Guy was disintrested, Bryan had a crack and by the end of the game was working some nice combinations out of the middle. He's bash and crash and is prepared to jump into the opposition ruck which is what we need. I hope big Cain plays a blinder or you might be hoist with your own petard.

Looks like the same old Bryan to me - not great at centre bounces, and doing occasional good things, but mostly not focussed and putting in half-efforts. Richards is terrible though. BTW I just couldn't believe the lack of quality and talent ammoung the Pies younger players. Apart from Pendlebury, they looked pretty ordinary. Everytime I see Thomas play, I'm reminded why his selection in the top-10 was a surprise. T Cloke was OK. The Roos younger players were a class above. The Pies badly lack talent and class in their younger player group. :)

Have only seen the game after half time, and he really hasn't done much. He just looks disinterested at times.
He only looks disinterested because he's a lumbering log. More mentally than physically. Pity, because he's got some talent - but there's a Lada brain in that SSV Commodore body. It's good enough to deal with the pace of VFL (most of the time), but sub-AFL.

^^^ AD that's funny. "Lumbering log."

I'm pretty glad we got Cloke instead of keeping Bryan. Cloke at least sounds switched on and determined by all training reports, whereas in the game last night, Bryan really didn't show too much. I dont care, he's not with us anymore, goodluck to him, and more importantly goodluck to our new boys.

I think the difference will be that whilst Bryan played as an out and out ruck, Cloke offers a little more flexibilty in that he'll play a slightly different role for us as an occasional KPP.

Time will tell.

Another play that I will be keeping a close eye on tonight. Cloke has done everything right during the pre-season, and I really think he could be a great pickup for us this year.

you really have to be at the game to see what Bryan does wrong.... he didn't run hard, long enough or to the right spots.
