Fantastic game after coming back from injury.

His kicking skills in particular were top notch.

It was great to see hime kick the ball from HB and hit a target in the midfield. Gives the team some confidence that the ball isn't going to be turned over and helps set up play going forward.

bloody oath. so glad to have him back. who would've thought he could become such an important player. has been massive in two very important games now, and we are all seeing how deadly his left boot is. has taken mantle of best foot skills in the team now. hoops is similar, but i think cj hits the long targets with more precision.

hopefully we get to see our other melbourne recruit turn it around similarly.

There is one kick that I remember distinctly. It was hard up against the boundary line with a man breathing down his neck, Waite is leading 40m down the field but he has hardly any room to move with his man on him like glue. As cool as you like, puts it straight into Waite's hands inside the boundary line.

He's not much of a tagger. Far more of an outside player.

One would safely suggest that Johnson's 20 disposals @ 60% efficiency had more impact on the game than Strijk's 16 disposals @ 44% efficiency.

I could not disagree with this more.

Watched the game Live then again on Foxtel when I got home.

Walker, Hammer, Ellard (in the first half - disposal mainly) in particular were considerably worse.

Even stalwarts like Murphy underperformed in that first half.

His few games this year have been pretty good. I was a little concerned he was set to become our new whipping boy for a while last year.

For a PSD pick, ive been pretty happy with his input into the side.

I had him under the pump at the start of the year.

Worth another contract I would've thought.

DE... most overrated stat in football. Far too much read into any type of statistical analysis in football... you can manipulate them to make a case for or against anything.

Thought Strijk was arguably their most dangerous forward - LeCras aside - particularly in the first half.
