I know there's already a thread about him and there's the autopsy thread, but how good was this bloke tonight?

29 touches, 6 inside 50s, 9 clearances, 5 tackles and a goal. Absolutely deserved a win tonight. A true superstar of the game. :thumbsu:

Best game I've seen him play since crossing to Carlton. I don't recall any "un-judd like" disposals, and was a constant threat around the contests. Hopefully Hawks have learnt, and will bother to give him an opponent next time we meet, instead of trying to run off him.

Don't know if it was his best game since coming over from West Coast, I'd say the game against Sydney at the SCG in the pouring rain, in 2010, where he won the game off his own back, would surely be his best game as a blue...

Nevertheless, he had a great game tonight, worthy of a brownlow vote.

To be honest I said before the game tonight that Judd was past it, and yeah I was most certainly proven wrong...he's still got it and what a performance he put on. What a fantastic career he's had.

Been quiet this year but Will need to step up now with Murph out.
And he will I think, stepped up last night when Murph went down, will continue to
Gibbs is the big one though, Without Murphy he will need to play absolutel elite football and I believe he can, these next few weeks will only be good for gibbsy

Love watching Judd play, his clearance work from stoppages is freakish, similar to Greg Williams.
In an often uncanny way he seems to get it to a team mate when the ball looks dead & locked in.
Very hard to tackle & restrict him disposing the footy.

I thought it bordered on cruel that the umps didn't pay him holding the ball against Hodge. Obviously because I felt it was very much the right decision and probably would have saved us a goal, but also I felt it kinda symbolic that Hodge was trying to waddle away even with a headstart and Judd mowed him down :D
