Gday people,

Ive just had this on my mind for a while, but as we have seen, chris judd is clearly struggling, and we all know how op has affected players in the past (luke ball, coughlan, michael voss). But judd has speed and quick lateral movement, which is what none of these players really do have, so if judd losses a large majority of his speed, the attribute that has really created him, then what will he become? hes not the strongest mark, and its impossible to think he will ever play backline....so does anyone else think this might be an early end for chris judd??

Thanks for your concern.

For the record, Judd himself has stated that overhead marking is his strong point but playing in the midfield he hasn't had much of an oppurunity to take many contested grabs.

Remembering his game against your mob two years back he kicked 4 goals from marks I50.

I'm sure during the pre-season the Eagles medical staff will be heavily focused on Judd and getting him fit and ready to go round 1 next year. He probably won't have toughest pre-season but he'll recover.

He'll be right to go next year and will continue to be the superstar he is. Too good a player to succumb to an injury like this. :thumbsu:

not as silly as it sounds, we've all denied it with Coggs....

We all certainley hope it dosent happen, although West Coast have been doing all they can to destroy the best player in the league.

Luke Ball used to be an absolute jet, he used to have express pace, 20m in around the 2.8sec mark. He still has his tough in and under skills, but his pace is gone and it's made a massive difference to how good a player he is.

It was my understanding he needs to go under the knife...WC, and himself no doubt, decided to play on and get it done postseason. IMHO it is the wrong decision as it is sad to see a champion running around (or attempting to) like he is. But surely there is a good chance the operation, and rest and rehab, will see him flying again by next season.

Admittedly Ball seems to have not recovered, but has he had an operation?

Operations are still controversial because there is no solid evidence that they do anything. They may even make you worse! This is even excluding postoperative complications like wound infection. The other fact of the matter is that not all "groin" injuries are the same and thus there is no standard procedure to perform.
Currently the best treatment is rest.

Worsfold and the Eagles have driven their players into the ground and ruined them for this season and maybe the next.

The conditioning staff down at Subiaco leave a lot to be desired. A medico came out today and confirmed that if the Eagles had have rested Judd six weeks ago he would not be hobbling around like a cripple right now. Cousins should not have been rushed back into the line-up either. Hansen is being considered for the weekend and he is far from even 70 per cent fit.

Seems like Woosha has taken a leaf out of Grant Thomas' book of corporate tactics. Drive everyone into the ground without caring for the consequences.

If Kerr comes back and snaps his tendon whose fault will that be?

LOL!. Tell me, how did you come across this infomation?

yep and you can see the same pattern emerging when quality players are coached by super dud coaches. You can also see the same pattern emerging with those same super dud coaches. Thomas - Ball, Spud - Cogga, both duds were more about saving their careers, hence wrecking careers in doing so. As for the charlartan Worsfold? lets just say, you only have to look at what is happening now, re. Cousins, Kerr and Judd, to understand what a superstar coach he is. I mean, he had he best of the best at his disposal, to go along with if not the best, one of the best ruckman a host of gun players and what? 1 flag? Sounds like another team who was supposedly coached by a super star back when they were unbeatable in 1980 doesnt it? ;)

worst post today. you have ruined big footy for everyone.

Wouldn't it be a pisser if Chris gave the Weagles the finger and said he's not signing a contract and will nominate to go to the Tiges in the PSD because we are such an honest, wholsome, up and coming group.

And after signing with us admitted that he only had a really bad corky but he's now over it. Then it is rumoured that he just had enough of the pill popping, powder sniffing, drug taking environment. "Let's just say that the club doesn't only know about it but encourage it." (Hypothetically speaking of course)

Warning: These comments are not intended to be factual.
There is no evidence to substantiate such claims.
The fictious sentiments above are nothing more than fantasy.

That said : Welcome Home Chris.:)
