I think he came in today and made a real impact. He ran hard, got the ball and hit targets. I wish we got to see him for the whole game. Would also like to add that Ebert had his breakout game and is looking like a real player!

+1, his ball use by hand was excellent, set up 2 goals when he came on and did well.

Ebert was fantastic.

His handballs were great as was his gut running up and down the ground. Similar to Ebert over the past few weeks, run very hard and wasn't used all the time but offers a good option.

His kicking looks to have good depth!

Just like his junior days and its still the same. His handballs in close are exceptional. Run is elite and will be a good player, maybe not what we had hoped for but will be at least a good player imo.

Yep. Being sub suits him in a way because Woosha plays who ever is sub through the center for almost the whole quarter

yeah exactly. Cant be sub every week, but was played to his strengths.
Could have a big impact come September if he can hit some form now

i think he's been unlucky cos he had all those injuries and stuff. At the end of 09 he was going well.

@hodgepodge: Indeed. Still hasn't notched 50 games.

As I've said before, has no obvious flaws but sometimes lacks hurt factor. Cannot fault him at all today though.

I think he did ok today and performed his role well. We have seen a number of players given time to adjust, who have become consistent performers at this level I think we need to give Masten a bit more time and he too will come good.

the true test will be when he plays a full game. if he delivers over 4 quarters, i'm sure we'll all be much happier.

let's hope he finishes the season strongly.

He was OK at best. A "real impact" is mcginnity saving us with brave efforts against the bulldogs last week. Not masten coming on when we are pantsing the tigers and not mucking up for once.

Definitely don't think he warrants a toast. But thats just me. I don't rate him, sorry. Harsh i guess.
