Not sure if this has been covered in a previous thread or not (my apologies if it has), but who are we supposed to wear our clash jumper against?

Have we already worn it this year and I missed it (seen all free-to-air games)?

Cheers, thanks for that.

Actually thought they may have worn it against Adelaide and Carlton. Personally, I think the design is sh*t anyway. Could be much

Bummers wore their clash jumper in the Dreamtime match so based on that logic, we will be wearing ours in round 21.
On the topic of clash guernseys...either grow the balls to design a radical, new one or don't do it at all FFS. Pathetic Victorian clubs still living in the VFL dark ages.

Didn't they just wear red shorts against us?

Totally agree, Tugga. Adding yellow around the collar and the edge of the jumper, and a couple of panels on the side does not make it a clash jumper. They should've gone with the other option that was on the RFC website (which obviously didn't get voted it god damn it) - all yellow and a black sash. Even the yellow pre-season jumper would be a much better option.

And wear the yellow shorts.:thumbsu:

Why does the clash jumper have to be the reverse of the usual jumper? Or worse let's stick a tiger on a grey guernsey! The logo obviously doesn't inspire any of the players.

Anyone got an image of the alternate clash jumper that was offered?

it is really strange how they dont understand that all it can do is boost revenue.
Get a totally different guernsey and maybe there is a market for them, with tiger heads wanting in with anything thats a tiger guernsey. Take a look at the saints, you go to their games now and there are the yellow jumpers, mixed in with the striped, along with the standard one. And all of the punters that wear them would more likely already own a standard one. ;)

I hear ya Cog. My nephew pestered his Mum for a Melbourne Victory shirt last year and she obliged, forking out $130 in the process.
this year, they go and change their shirt and guess what, my sister is out of pocket another $130 and the old one gets thrown at the back of the cupboard.
Vic clubs are really living in the dark ages on so many issues, it's embarrassing at times.

I reckon the NAB one was heaps better, not fantastic but definitely better.

I know Reebok are our apparel partners, but do the RFC have to pay them at all? I mean, say there were five jumpers torn in every game for the year, they'd obviously need to to be replaced. Who covers that, Reebok or us? Surely Reebok have to get something out of it.

dude, you only need to look at the Man Us of this world to understand how to create revenue, by having 3 strips each year, one of which is the standard and the other 2 or even 3 maybe, changed each year. That means there are fans that buy 3 a year instead of one each 5 or 6 or 7 years.
I cant understand it sometimes, its quite basic marketing and those at the helm are suppose to be able to market? LMAO...sheeeeesh;)
