I like the one above and option B but I'd prefer it if they used the one above because i'm sick of the white

Clash jumpers have to be predominately "light", not white.

The AFL had previously rejected Melbourne's above red and navy application, saying that white was the light colour to be used.

But it has been goind around the footy circles that they (the afl) have recently accepted red as the Demons' light colour (ala your previous clash jumpers).

Here's to a tradtional-looking, classy "clash" geurnsey :thumbsu: (dont get your hopes up though...)
 
The clash guernsey will be predominantly white likely with an MFC logo/badge on the front.(Like guernsey B in the original post).

Cameron Schwab is keen on the white background as he says these guernseys are popular with kids because they show up the autographs much better.

I also belive the AFL are having some say in the predominantly white required for the clash strip.

I could not give a Malcolm Blight's tossbag about what jumpers are good to sign.

Melbourne and red and blue, that's it.
 
the thing that annoys me is melbourne have to wear a clash jumper against essendon

but essendon dont have to wear one against anyone

ridiculous!

Mate, I'm just telling you what is most likely to be the outcome.

Unfotunately your or my wishes on what the clash jumper should be won't get a look in.
 
Although i dont like the white any more than the next guy ... i thought i'd have a go at one with some white in there ...

What was wrong with white shorts? I rarely had a problem playing when there were white shorts and dark shorts. I also don't remember a problem watching 99% of the time. Not to mention that we wear the clash jumper sometimes too much and it actually creates a clash. I'm not that much of a traditionalist but there wasn't anything wrong with the old system in my opinion. And I also wish i could call the umpires white maggots, instead of fluro maggots. I also miss the labs coats, they were classic.

IMO its either all-out demon (ie previous logo and clash jumper) or no demon at all.

They made a stance this time last year about the demon, now they have to stick with it or rebrand entirely (which is what they should do).

Anything to get rid of that shocker of a logo im for.
 
I think you'd have to make the design a big more hard-edged. The back at least should be in a V shape.

How about they do an edit of the old demon in the bottom corner design?

I know it wouldn't be traditional but if they took the old demon logo and revamped it in a Fremantle/West Coast style of having shades of colours and stuff it could look awesome. Red background with a blue demon with blue and white flames. What I see in my head looks quite cool for a 4 game per season jumper. I'm not sure if I'm getting it across well though.
