I know you guys would be hurting but Kudos to the all the Richmond players who lined up to clap off McLeod after the game.

Goodwin also called Bowden forward to congratulate him on his 250 games.

You might not have seen it on the replay as there is that pesky olympics they want to show, so they cut the telecast short but the adelaide crowd and in particular the members area clapped Richmond off the ground for their show of sportsmanship.

Its hardly out of the ordinary for a side to do this for a legend of the game such as mcleod in the PR age we live in. Its all about image and being role models and being graceful in defeat. We also did it for sheedy and hird btw in their last game. Now you may well say "yeah sheedy and hird was different because you guys won and wouldnt have been embarassed to stay on the ground like you were today". My answer, sure, we won, but then we had to listen to the bombers song several times!!! Even though we won!!!

So in summary, not classy, they did nothing more than what was expected of them from what i've heard. Showing some class would have been to provide you guys with some sort of opposition/challenge today.
