What do you guys think of us picking up Collard with our 2nd round or PP this year? Personally I'd be disappointed if we didn't pick him up if he was available. In the under 18 champs he looked pretty fast and classy and seems to have a good goal sense. I really loved that goal he kicked against Vic Metro in round 2. He could turn out to be a really good midfielder or flanker and looked every bit as good as Jetta. So what are your thoughts on drafting this guy?

Only got to see him once this year but saw him a few times last year and i don't think he will slip to pick 17 from what i saw but if he does no doubt we should take him.

Agree, would take him but I think he will go to West Coast with pick 16 if he dosen't go earlier. I rate him 10 - 16 on what I have seen. I think Freo may also pick him up if Jetta or Leuenberger don't slip.

I think we are buckley's. We may be on the mark for O'Brien (WA) unless W.C pick him up. Otherwise we will be in the market for 1 of - 5 really good players in QLD. I really rated what I have seen of them and they are all playing well in the senior QAFL.

Doubt he'd slip that far down, but i'm anticipating one quality mid slipping down the order. One I would like to get that I think might be still around is Broc O'Brien.

Petterd, Urquart, Houli, Hislop or Obrien. I rate them all very highly. Would have them all top 10 any year, would be wrapped if we can steal 2 of them.

I'm with you HBF but how a kid this quick, tough and with such a penetrating kick could slip that far is beyond me - even if he isnt on ball material.

But if he's there I am positive we'll pick him - we desperately need a quick small-med defender. I'm not the first to say it I know but he really reminds me of a left footed campbell brown- except a better kick.
