a lot of people are saying that Sydney were robbed the other week in WA, but if anyone saw what happened yesterday at Springvale would say the swans got a fair deal.

Last in the game, Clayton up by just 5 points, a East Brighton player marks about 55m out from goal on the boundary line, one last change to win the game, all this while a Clayton player is in the hands of the trainers injured within 5 metres of the man on the mark.
He starts to make his way off and the Ump blows his whistle and calls 50. Everyone at the ground is in shock and the ump starts saying that he asked the injured player to move and he didn’t.
East player from 5 metres out kicks the goal and the siren goes.
East through to the grand final.

who cares what happens to that bunch of w@nkers really?

in the whole SFL they're the only side I cannot stand. their supporters are lowlifes & their players are thugs.

Umpires ruin everything!

Anyhoo, when the dust has settled, who is in the SFL grand final, when and where is it played?

Who is the favourite?

Balwyn vs East Brighton at Springvale.
They met 2 weeks ago where Balwyn had the better of East all day, but East beat them twice during the year.
the 2 powerhouse clubs of the SFL, should be a great game.

what do you care highett were terible this year e/b rested 5 players when they played you and won by 8 goals

We used a total of 44 out of 56 players in the ones this year, 3 players did season ending knee injuries. That east Brighton game we went in with 1 of our leadership group, led at half time and were over ran.
East that day had their full side in. I know this for a fact because they ran out with 18 of 21 of the same players on the weekend.

In the last 4 games of the season we had players backing up and playing both games, we were in a spot with the twos holding on for a finals spot, so we couldn’t rub them. The players backing up did a great job and will learn a lot from that.
We used 15 first year players this year, last year we went through using only 3.
Looking at the results you might think that the club didn’t go well, but if you want you can watch both games against East this year I have them both on video and you’ll see that both times we were in the game until the lack of fit players took it’s toll.

Might have to pop down for this one. Family interest in Balwyn. Sounds like its going to be a great game.

keep the videos, saw the games pretty closely as i was playing in both, nothing against highett did ok for a team coming up from div.2, but to say clayton were robbed is just wrong the umpiring all day was pathetic e/b had plenty of frees against that were ridiculous, 3 throwing the balls when the umpire was behind the player for a start, also clayton cant kick for goal maybe they should spend less time holding up 7-11s and more time training.
 
Balwyn Eeeeeeasy!

Half time was down 3.4 to 0.6 Enter Cranage and 3 goals in 3 mins later Balwyn were in front. 8 goals to nil in the 3rd term Game over.
