Floating on Tuesday, Port Lincoln based Tuna Farm.

I believe they are the biggest supplier of Tuna to Japan and are also the first Aquaculture company to be listed on the ASX.

18 Million shares are being released, starting at $0.50.

I am going to get into them as Aquaculture is a huge area of growth, and will only get bigger and bigger with things like the Bird Flu (everyone eating fish, not chicken) etc etc

Have done some research, read through the prospectus and they look like they could do a bit of alright.

Anyone got any opions on Clean Seas Tuna?

Funny I thought this thread would be a pi$$ take.

Like is this where the fish John West reject end up.

Anyway, sounds like a good thing. And besides, there are only two things that smell like fish, but only one of them's a good investment.

Getsy mate I checked out the prospectus at cleanseas.com.au, and I've put my 2 bobs worth in. bought 5000 shares and 5000 converting notes. worked out (using my mathemetics modelling skills) that when the conversion goes through in 2008, that the worst possible share price at the time (to get the most shares possible) is $1.08. Hopefully the share is either worth a lot more, or a lot less than $1.08.

and jack, i doubt 6 months would be sufficient time to see the benefits of this investment, as the fish arent sexually active for another 3 years, and this will be when the huge growth (if it was to occur) will really begin.
