I mean seriously. The bloke had everything going for him, i cant imagine he'd take his own life. Nor that he'd do drugs.

He was a wonderful caller of the game. He was the best out there and had a bright future in the media. He will be missed. I was lucky enough to have many chances to be able to meet him over the years. RIP you will be forever with us.
never can speculate on these things, none of us know him....a sad loss, was a genuine talent that I am certain would have made his mark...RIP
to be honest i didnt think much of him as a commentator, but that is no reflection on him as a person. i wish all the best to his family. what a tragedy.

His show on Fox Footy was sensational. Was a sad day when we lost the footy channel on there.
He was knowledgable about the game, had enthusiasm for it without going over the top, treated fans with respect, and was a good caller IMO. To me, he was what other wannabee commentators should try to emulate.
Sad loss to footy.

He brought a rare blend of enthusiasm, fairness and professionalism to calling the game...not always the most knowledgeable man in the box, but he was no bunny and always the most enjoyable to listen to.

RIP in Clinton.
Fox Footy/Fox Sports Sunday wont be the same now without Clinton calling all the action. Last year there was nothing better than after a big weekend sitting down watching the twilight game and listening to Clinton call all the action with his excitement and passion for the sport.
Will be missed.

You're work on Fox Footy and 3AW was fantastic, easily one of my favourites, a sad loss to the Footy World.
I still think that hes call for the rd 6 game against Port Adelaide at the Telstra Dome in 2005 was amazing, he was a true sports caller.
