I'd do that swap. Wouldn't trade anything else, but an 8th round pick might be OK for him.
He has potential, and has played some senior football. But he hasn't really lived up to his early promise; maybe a change of scenery would do him good. But it's too much of a gamble to use up any quality draft picks or spend too much salary cap money on him.
