Everyone seems to be pretty happy with German coming on board, but I am wondering how the re-shuffling of coaching roles will affect us next year. As I understand it:

O'Donnell switches to defense.

German replaces\works with Broadbridge in the midfield.

Harvey takes control of the forward group.

I thought Harvey would have stayed with the backiline as that is where he is most experienced, but I have heard they want to draw on his experience of managing Lloyd and Lucas at Essondon, to get Pav and Taz working well together.

German getting the midfield can only be a winner in my book. I think Broadbridge had has enough chances to get them firing.

O'Donnell to the backline won't hurt at all either IMO. Wasn't he in charge of the no-names in 2003?

Mark Harvey handling the forwards is a good idea, it makes sense to have your best assistant handle the area with the most talent and the most flexibility.

I think Harvey forward is a good move too. If the forward line is up and firing then the midfield will be pumping that ball in there quicker than a politicians backflip.

I think the boys up there could be a bit more aggressive (Farmer excluded) and he may contribute to that as well.

I think we have the best mix of assistants we have ever had, and by an absolute mile!
