David Rath interests me. Has very recent connections to a club that has a coach in limbo...please make it happen.

St Kilda Football Club President Andrew Bassat has announced the members of a coaching selection sub-committee, which was finalised at meeting of the club’s board last night.

Chaired by the President, the sub-committee will oversee the recruitment process which will begin immediately.

The committee includes Saints Football Director Dean Anderson, CEO Matt Finnis and General Manager of Football Simon Lethlean, along with the AFL’s Head of Coaching David Rath.

Ok. I guessed that but he isn’t in limbo. Spoke to our footy club at a sports night 3 weeks ago and I would be shocked if he went anywhere.

I'd suggest he was approached as opposed to positioned with us, given he governs the L4 coaching program which was the program designed in 2015 to identify senior coaches of which Bolton, Dew, Goodwin were initial accredited coaches.

Why? Because the footy manager is involved? I would hope so and it depends what high level appointments are. I picked the next king. Have you? This is a good game. We just lie to each other to prove we know something.

So explain why? That's all I want. Ive given a reason I think why not. I gather because you think leathlean is involved he isn't applying. I then said i would hope the footy manager is on the committee whoever applies. Whats wrong with me wanting to know why you think he isn't. Argument? Really. You answered your own question. Of course I think there’s a conflict of interest with Lethlean on the committee but only if Scott applies. The fact that SL is on the committee suggests to me that Scott isn’t applying & equally the fact Roo is excusing himself suggests to me RTB is in play. Just my opinion.

That's fine but surely you expected the footy manager to be on it whoever applies. I certainly did. I would be very disappointed if it effected the outcome as there is another 3 on it.
