The expression on my face when i read tweets about coaching speculation.

so at the moment, we've got dew, caracella, mccartney, barker & burns all confirmed by random twitter "sources" to be our coach for next season. time to zone out for a few days and wait for the official announcement i think.

this crosses the line for me. again, I'm just going to keep pointing out stuff like this because I want this place and our club to be welcoming and equal, not a 'boys club'.

Bit of inside goss.. we nearly had Sean Dempster sign on in our high performance department. Didn't get done as we had no coach so he's signed on with hawthorn.
Internally they still don't know who the coach is.

The Suns started their final round of interviews late last week and were expecting to finish by Wednesday morning on the Gold Coast.

CEO Mark Evans would then make his recommendation to the board, with an announcement expected as early as Thursday morning.

Yeah was really keen to move up as well. They presented the best deal/opportunity..
then they went quiet for a bit due to putting their energy into finding a coach, but he needed to have a contract in front of him otherwise it would be too late to go with other clubs if the suns didn't work out. Ended up at hawthorn, man knows his stuff as well

DWD is not passing judgement or anything like that, he's wanting to make it more female friendly which is a good ideal.
