Coburg Players

Since getting ABC 2 with Foxtel Iv'e been enjoying watching the VFL matches.

Judging from what I have seen of the Coburg side some of the players there (non AFL) are a little better than some of our listed players.

Surely Neville could get a game at an AFL club?

Or is he a discard from somewhere who has found his level?

Would be interested in others thoughts!

p.s about to watch the 2nd half of the Ballarat game.

Yea he does look alright doesnt he. Don'y know if he is a reject from somewhere else. Sylvest and Ronaldson could be worth looking at for a rookie spot too considering our lack of depth in tall players.

Neville came across from Box Hill with Andy Collins and was competing with Howat for the rookie spot a couple of years ago. Then last year I believe he trained for a while with the Saints in the hope of getting picked up there but no luck. Has looked a class above at VFL level this season, was BOG in the VFL/WAFL match a while back. Should be a good chance to be rookied this year. His concern would be a lack of pace, especially given who coaches our side, but a very good footballer regardless and it'd be nice to see him get a shot.
