Sorry for the new thread. Saw the last one was about 4 years ago so I was just wondering if anyone has a good affordable coffee machine recommendation.
We have a Nespresso Lattissima Plus which is about 2-3 years old and recently (after 8 months of no use) I noticed water/coffee going into the capsule dispenser container. Not alot, but enough to know it shouldn't go in there and I am noticing little black specks when I go to run hot water through it (which stops after a few hot water shot). It is out of warranty so would cost $150 to repair but the missus isn't too keen to go that route and would rather ride it out till it goes to machine heaven and just buy a new one.
I was thinking of Nescafe Dolce Gusto from Big W but not a fan of powdered Milk which comes in the pods (1 pod for coffee and 1 pod for milk). Wife reckons the Woolworth Caffitaly S22 from Woolies but neither have a good review.
Anyone have recommendations of good pod machines (preferably) that are long lasting and not cheap and nasty. Would prefer pods that are easy to get (e.g Woolies or Coles) as where I live I the closest place to get Nespresso pods is at Chadstone or Westfield Doncaster which is about 30 mins (Chaddy) or 40mins away (doncaster).
