Cogs didn't have a reasonable game last week though, he had a shit game. Before that however, he was running into some nice form. Not sure what dropping him back to Coburg will do. He was just starting to adjust to the pace of AFL.

Vickery was outstanding in the ruck for Coburg last weekend (according to the Rawlings report). His only weakness was not enough overhead marking. Why not play him ahead of the slow lumbering Simmonds? That guy does not deserve to play if last weeks form is a guide! And it's on the large and fast Subiaco oval, so it would have made sense for the young gun to debut as second string to Patto.
simmonds is bloody lucky gus aint right....that comment on Vick tells me he's still a way off, from what Ive seen id rate him a 3/10 on overhead marking, needs to be twice that to make any impact at senior level...not playing against 168cm opponents this year boyo

He played a shocker last week but harsh to be dropped.
I thought his other games were great considering the amount of game time he's had in the last few seasons.
he should not have got dropped. but you cant go missing and have no impact like he did early. bring him back next week and he will work much harder you can be sure of that.See this is what I mean! Wallace always makes these stupid f&cked up rash decisions to drop any player who played a shocker last week! Coughlan will probably take it on the chin, but I reckon it really affects our younger core of players when he does this! Wallace, you've completely lost the plot!!!
...my old man told me never to argue with idiotsDo people selectively read posts? Or do they just get a pre-conceived thought into their head and refuse to acknowledge anything that contradicts this notion?
Coughlan clearly wasn't dropped on form. He has been rested, primarily due to the nature of the playing surface and location of the match venue.
I fully expect, given a clean bill of health out of the Coburg game, that he will return for Friday night's game against Western.
