Coincidences over Christmas

I was looking at buying a country supporter's membership for 2008 but left it too late... turns out my (then) girlfriend got me it for Christmas. Coincidence #1 (ok, she kind of planned it).

Spent Christmas with her family, and completely separately her brother gets me a Lions beach towel as a present. Coincidence #2.

Went to the Botanical Gardens on the weekend and threw in the beach towel to sit on. Managed to surprise her with a proposal, so she's now my current fiancee instead... all on a Brisbane Lions beach towel. Coincidence #3.

It seems my entire Christmas was very Lions-oriented in the end.

It will save you alot of heartache in later years when you explain why you need to go to the footy instead of to her friends birthday dinner at some overpriced salad resturant

Coincidence #1: I wanted a present for Christmas and Santa brought me one!

#2: Sister brought 5-dozen oysters for New Year's Eve and I love oysters!

#3: Spent a week at Mum & Dad's beach house and we went to the beach!
