Spent the last week in NZ (South Island). Brisk.

Nine days and instead of waking up to 6.9° I'll be getting up to 12.2°.

Was in Launceston for the Hawks game. Had the snow jacket on for that!

It was cold on the hill on Saturday watching the Bulldogs and the Giants. Canberra wind blows right through you.

Drove down to Melbourne on Monday.

Left the Gold Coast early and it was about 12 degrees. Track suit pants and my favourite t-shirt is always my driving apparel.

Now I don't like paying for accommodation on the way down, I generally just do the truck parking bays for a few hours sleep a few times.

Anyway, one of the normal sleep spots for me is just past Yass.

Well, after spending 2 hours on the Hume Highway in a jam due to a crash, I got to my normal spot and nodded off for a few hours rest. Pretty much as soon as the chair was reclined, I nodded off.

Problem was it was minus 3 outside. When I nodded off, the car heater had given me a false sense of security. The track suit pants and trusty t-shirt were no match for this
