Yeh U2 aren't as good as they used to be, but a few of their albums are unbelievably good though.

In theory, wouldn’t I be the one more likely to be bored by their music?Leaping Lindner said:Why?
Unless its the gap in our age. Seriously I just don't get Coldplay.

).Yeh well I’ve never been a huge fan of punk. I will listen to a few punk songs here and there, but there is much better stuff available.Leaping Lindner said:Possibly. Although I find today's music quite weak (for want of a better word). Probably comes from listening to too much punk as a teenager (and still listening).

Mate, you're 17. Why the %@&# would you be listening to musical wallpaper that wafts across middle class dinner parties as they pour cool climate chardonnay?Drummond said:Yeh well I’ve never been a huge fan of punk. For the last time, I'm not 'getting angry'. I am more than satisfied listening to Coldplay, as it is much better than the junk that is on offer today.McAlmanac said:Mate, you're 17. Get angry. Question what's going on around you. And today's "punk" is not what I mean. Getting all manner of tatts and piercings smacks of the "gotta have it but I don't why" syndrome.
