Howdy all, first poster here and very passionate pies supporter. Just trying to find ne info at all about tonights game. Was anyone at the game??
Oh btw, i've been reading a lot of posts on here since just b4 the kangaroos game and it seems to me that too many pies supporters jump off the boys at the slightest thing. Rusling going down seems to have emptied the bandwagon signiphicantly. I don't actually know (cant be bothered finding out) how many games Rusling played last year but honestly i couldnt really see him being the difference between a bottom or top 8 finish. Like to know what all you guys and gals think.

Rusling, yes it was a pity, but we have to expect that in professional sport. Hopefully it got rid of the hangers on.

I actually hope for improvement from last year. With daisy and pendles coming into their second year they will excel, Buckley will almost definitely now play out of the square / foward pocket. I think if Richards can win a tap then there is no reason why we can't make top 4 given luck with injuries etc. I know that a Carlton/Essendon supporter will most likely come in here and say something ridiculous about us finishing below them....(hahaha....yeh ) but i have never seen Rusling do nething better than what i have already seen Medhurst do at the club. Dont get me wrong, i am hoping for Rusling to be a star but i really don't think he has shown enough (YET) to prove he's a match winner.
Oh and another thing, because i don't live near Melbourne i don't get to watch the boys train much...but is the hype over our Irish boy for real? Will he get a game this year? and if so are the expectations that have already been layed on him (the next buckley) going to damage his chances. (opposition paying more attention than they usually would have)???
