He'd be a useful addition to somebody's list, but quite frankly Carlton have been down the reject route too many times recently and need to draft as much youth as possible.

On team balance im baffled... we kept walker when we really need a 3rd ruckman? what a joke!! Down to two men really smart.

Three possible reasons.
1. He's been injured for the past two seasons
2. Hes under contract
3. He's got photos, probably handed down to him by Ben Kinnear.

With Hall J Cloke and Fanning gone, Walker and Cam Cloke simply must remain on the list. Apart from them we have only two rucks (plus T Cloke and some 18 year old draftee)

If we are keeping Walker ahead of Cameron Cloke because Walker has 1 year left in a contract then we are being mismanaged. Firstly because he has 1 year left and secondly because we’ve made the wrong decision for the wrong reason. Walker and Cloke have similarly achieved nothing but at least Cloke can ruck and we don’t have anyone of his build to support Fraser.

I can understand Jason wanting to leave because of lack of opportunities, etc. But I can't understand Cameron wanting to go with him. He has been injured a fair bit, so it's not because he hasn't been given a chance. He just hasn't been able to get out on the park regularly.

I would have though that historically, pick 10 in the PSD has been a pass, and in the event of it not being a pass, its been a wasted pick.

I overheard Wakelin on a train (he was off to the South Yarra night club) on Prelim final night and he suggested (on his mobile to someone) that he was around for 1 more year to be selected when match ups require but he needs to get to undertstand playing at Willy.

It was an interesting train trip. He was discussing the list and thought Yakka & Rowe were gone. Walker was still there due to a contract. Did not mention the clokes. He was a big fan of Cox (Rookie) and Stanley. he thought Nichols was too small pity he got off at South Yarra also a pity my misses would not shut up whilst I was trying to listen in on the telephone call.

I think C.Cloke will be kept, Fanning gone.. can't go into the season with Fraser and Richards who won't play half of the year because of injury.
