The first time I've had to genuinely think about it. Two of my favourite players since I've been a Pie fan - I remember seeing Watson's first game when I was six or seven years old, from memory he kicked four goals at full forward. I settled with Watson because he was good for longer, although Wakelin's been terrific.

Tough one...
Voted for Wakelin in the end as i think he's had more of a positive impact on the club. As a good a pick up as Clement in my opinion.
Watson however did play State football, but, his career never reached the heights expected when a very promising junior. Due to his great courage, suffered a number of concussions that thwarted a longer & more fruiyful career.

watson sucked cept for early on when he looked like a forward. wakelin gets the nod from me pretty comfortably

had a bit of time for watson but not enough it seems.
didn't think this would be much of a contest but there you go.

Very hard decision this one. I gave it to Wakelin simply because he is a KPP. Watson was great early although injury made it hard for him to play at the highest level. I was luck enough to watch him play for Preston after he left the Pies and him playing at that level reminded me of the talent he had, just couldn't keep up with the elite.

Watson is very very overrated by the Magpie faithful. At his best (it was only a year or so when he played anywhere near his potential) he was a useful third tall, no more. Could play at either end but not very well.

Wakelin is very very underrated.
