I'm not sure where to post this.
For some reason I've suddenly got Swans threads appearing in my feed.
Can someone please tell me how to get rid of them.
If you're still having that issue (it happened to me about 9 days ago): https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/thre...d-an-answer-for.1158903/page-84#post-83517904

If you received an alert for this thread, but do not sub to the Sydney board at all, just click here to fix it:

https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/forums/sydney.29/watch

Some glitch in the matrix made a lot of people sub to the Sydney board, I guess.

🤷‍♂️

You can manage all of your watched forums here:

Afterwards...

If you find yourself receiving alerts for other threads or users that you shouldn't be, check out whether you are watching or following them and Unwatch or Unfollow.

Bloody hell is Graham Cornes now a wannabe Pom - spirit of the game…. Keep walking Jonny

Former SANFL and AFL legend Graham Cornes had a bit to say in regard to the umpiring call that ruled out a potentially game winning opportunity for the Crows.

“I think the decision against Izak Rankine was harsh but technically it was correct,” Cornes told SEN's Eddy Cornes Show.

“In the spirit of the game it probably would have been okay to let it go.

lol, what a laugh. Basically what he’s saying is that the ‘Spirit of the Game’ is to not pay a free kick for something that’s illegal in order to see if Adelaide can pinch a late winner. 🤣

Poor old Graham has such a chip on the shoulder, the typical South Australian anti-Victorian attitude (that's despite being a born and bred Victorian)!! He's been embarrassing himself with this kind of nonsense for far too long, and really should call it a day!

Some are acting as if Rankine booted a goal at the end of that run, or at least passed it to a teammate who might have kicked one, but none of that happened! He kicked it to a pack, and from there it was most likely going nowhere (if play had continued). Rankine ran too far. Just a few seconds before that, Lachie Schultz was taken high when trying to take a mark; a free kick should have been paid, but wasn't. So was that proof of SA bias, were they trying to keep the Crows chances alive, or did the umpire just make a mistake?!!

He is just handing out catnip to the great unwashed of South Australia. Keeps the sad old battler on air.

Milestones coming up in the next few weeks.

Quaynor currently on 95 games
Maynard currently on 196
Frampton currently on 48
Howe currently 241 (still a more than a few weeks away)
AFL game number 100 for Lachie Schultz this week. Hopefully he can celebrate it with a win against his old side! Pat Lipinski should play his 50th game for Collingwood as well.

Big challenge for the cheer squad making the banners in coming weeks. Can’t be easy recognising all these milestones and fitting them into the banner real estate, especially when you have to find room for advertising and…um…a pithy(?) rhyming snipe at the opposition.

P.S. I love the Pies cheer squad.👌

Fly knows who he needs around him

Sign of a very good manager to surround themselves with competent people and then allow those people to flourish.

I’m still in awe of how Fly coaches on game day. He’s not in the box and he’s not on the headphones. He has Bolton sitting behind him who is on the headphones, and giving him updates. That’s a well-oiled machine running the show, while Fly interacts with the players and the bench.

That also allows him to keep a close sense of the game rather than getting distracted by details.
