Its all about the footy. No achievement or even progress is apparent in this area under mcguires reign. Thats my beef and reason why alternatives need to be explored. The great democracy of collingwood is not in a healthy way when board members like kevin rose ( director of football? ffs!) are re elected unopposed and uncontested!

I dont think the plasma screens and playstations is a bad thing, unless players are ditching training/pre season workouts for it. If anything it's probably something that'll keep players around the club when they're not training, which can only be a good thing.

andnoacheivement or progress during mcguires reign??? are u forgetting about consecutive GF's?? ok it aint a premiership, but it is an achievement nethertheless

Well guess what you impotent whiner?... footy starts with infrastructure and it is not Eddie's job to coach them to a premiership or kick the winning goal from 70 metres out... he took a club 3 million in debt with the worst facilities in the league and turned it into the richest club in the land with state of the art sporting facilities, managed a deal so that the MCG built us a stand and a social club at no expense and lifted the membership to over 40 thousand.

And your contribution so far?..... whining like a schoolgirl because things aren't happening quick enough for you..... we lost a premiership by 9 points to a team that had a million dollars worth of extra champions and before last years GF we were the only club that had beaten them in a final... so go p1ss and moan elsewhere... i suggest the Carlton forums where you can feel at home

And I ain't an MM fan, but Eddie's handling of everything at the minute is top shelf and should be commended.

He uses the Footy Show to vent his frustration at the lies that the newspapers SPIN. Oppo fans see this as a conflict of interest somehow, but any Prez can have his say in the spotlight. Ed just loves it more!

Adelaide is such a backward city we need a touch of the real Magpies and some of the Eddie flare.

1. Brisbane - 3 premierships

2. Power - 1 premiership

that's what true clubs + supporters live for - anything less than that is a waste of a season - ask geelong, st. kilda who had good seasons last year.

Yes that's right, but that is not what the topic is about.

The main point was it should be ALL about Footy, not the other things.
I was saying that those other things are also very important to the club, and they were done by Eddie - See how it works.
But I understand you are probaly from Adelaide
