I’ve watched a full Collingwood game once this year before this week, so I can’t say I’m an authority on the matter. But from the bits and pieces I did see, I was always suspicious that their form was a bit fools gold. After today, I’m more convinced they are going nowhere in September, not just because Collingwood struggle in September in general, but because they are, how should I put it, a bit “downhill”. So much hype, so little toughness.

And one of those was against Aints and didnt even win it in the legit GF day
And needed a QF replay to get over West Coast in 1990.
If only Peter Sumich was as good at kicking from tight angles as Dom Sheed was.

Collingwood huffed their own farts from early in in the season.

Lagpies would be 4th if they hadn't gotten out of jail a handful of times. Now they've got injuries and suspensions and at risk of losing top spot despite being two games clear.

Very #concerning form going into finals

I'd be more concerned about tomorrow night being a scats bandwagoner.

I'm content. My team has won more flags in 12 years than Collingwood have won in 60.

We may win tomorrow, we may lose - we still won't be as shit as Collingwood 😇

Said it from day 1.
The feel good giggly schoolgirl rubbish that the coach delivers has a lifespan of 2 years and that's only when you're winning.
Under pressure they are as vague as a yabby in a bucket of sh1t.

A lot of 11thlong deflection going on ITT

I value your opinion on this topic after the Dreamons straight setted last season
We're ready to pass the torch on.

2022: Win all their H&A games by close margins, lose to Geelong and Sydney in finals by a kick.
2023: Win all their H&A games by close margins, lost to X and X in finals by a kick.

The story the media are keeping under wraps. The chronic underachievers sell papers though, but proper football scholars are aware of where this is heading.

"We didn't lose. Yeah the other team kicked a higher score and eliminated us from finals, and we'll have to watch from the couch as the winning teams play off in the Grand Final, but we did NOT lose!" - C. McRae - flagless Collingwood coach.
