My source comes from within the Collingwood coaching box. I never said we will get him, but he is the one we're after.

Hopefully we can snag him. Bucks and Pert had a meeting with him earlier in the year, so they're clearly trying to grease the wheels between now and FA.

With al this talk of trading for Vince and now Pearce, I'd think our 1st rounder is most definitely on the table. A pick in the mid 20s' is obviously considered rubbish by Hine.

I'd have no problem trading it for a player who can make his way into our best 22, immediately.

Not a massive gamble. We have Witts this year who is the equivalent to a first rounder and other rookies developing who will take that space. We have enough players in the 19-23 age bracket to go another year without using "pick 25/26" on a young player. At least next year if we use our first rounder it will be at worst pick 18.

Not sure if he is injured or not but I'd rather go for Clinton Young. Carries the ball over long distances & is a thumping kick. Seems to be overtaken at Hawthorn but he is quality.
