It was much more than I expected. After looking at the previous crowds that Colonial were getting and considering it was Monday night.

What are you trying to get at? If we use your logic, then if there are millions of *** people around the world, then why do only thousands turn up at the Mardi Gras? As much as I hate to admit it I think Joel/Jaffa won't be too upset come September.

North and Essendon on the trot is bad enough but Freo are a very good side when they feel like it and the trouble is people still assume they suck.

As noted in my final 8 predictions, I reckon the pies have enough good players and class to win around 14 for the year which will place them at 6th or better.

Oh and could the reason there were more Collingwood fans at the MCG on Anzac Day be that is was a Collingwood home game??? No excuse for leaving early though pie fans..

If we want to play finals football this year then the losing streak has to stop this week against Richmond.

Otherwise we may find ourselves in our annual marathon losing run. Four consecutive losses is managable in the current climate of average teams, but anything greater and it's trouble. Especially when you have a recent history of losing.
