Bachar was interviewed this morning at punt road they showed it on TV a few mins ago , actually said he made a mistake & brain fade and went against team rules.
They played that and Mathews said he was being a bit diplomatic (paraphrasing) Ling said the issue was the hang time directed at a smaller player in Lambert.

I hope he gets a game this week.
I think he'd be perfect against Adelaide. Not so sure against Hawks, but wouldn't be disappointed if he got his chance.

I remember watching him against the pies game and our forward just opened up more and seemed to be more space, even though he didnt kick a goal you can see he is a natural and has footy smarts . frustrating thing also is that Danniher and Mc Bean were pretty much on par in the VFL a few years back. The druggos took a gamble on Danniher put him in the seniors and kept playing him and low behold he's there main forward now and plays some pretty good footy when he kicks straight.

This is true but Bummers also had few options for a key forward and so almost had to play their new 'great white hope'.
We have had a two time Coleman winner, a number 8 draft pick forward ruck + Griff in the wings with an extra couple of years on Bean.

However - McBean is almost demanding an elevation now and also a run of 3 or 4 games too.

ok. after a nights sleep....we play best when its us against them, backs to the wall. think back to 95 under northey. we are the tigers RAH RAH RAH. now we've suffered a setback, against premiers hawks in form. we prefer underdog status anyway

He's the type of player who'll learn from his mistake and move on, Hardwick said as much.

Yer i would even play him this week , Hawks would be troubled by our height in forward line if he come in.

Tigers need to play McBean , i reckon in long run he will be better than Grif.
Not until McBean can offer the same chop out in the ruck that Griffiths can offer
He was actually pretty good in the ruck after Hammer went down

What about playing him against the Hawks, Hampson gonna be injured. Play Maric/Grif in Ruck and have Vickery , McBean and Jack in forward line.
Hawks are losing spanger with Hammy also so they will be one tall down.

Have to agree I think Griffiths work in the actual Ruck contest and then his follow up tackling and body work around the ruck contests is very good for a relief ruck. Keep plugging away with him I reckon and hope that soon enough it all clicks.

McBean has already struggled with the step up to AFL level, I really don't think picking him against the Hawks is a great plan.
I'd just bring Vickery in for an injured Hampson

yep didn't set the world on fire that is true but it was only one game then got dropped then back in then dropped again. I still think when he did come in for those two games he did some nice things helped in some goals and should have really at least kicked 3 himself in total for both those games, and i still reckon he opened up the forward line more and we looked more dangerous going inside 50 just an observation i seen , i tend to think he knows where to lead and he's quick off the lead , and when and if he gets good delivery from the mids then he's gonna kick goals if given a chance . Also Theres been many many good players of football whom have had ordinary games to start there career, Boomer had one kick in first game, Johnathan brown had one handball in his first game etc etc just to name a few.

Don't disagree with any of that, just that I think he could get a better run at it if we bring him in for 3-4 weeks after we play Hawthorn.

So virtually never :p

huge win for them

Griffiths was actually half decent in the ruck.
We just don't seem to play well with him, Vickery, maric and Jack in the same side. All the bad losses we have had have contained those blokes in the same side.
