Anyone notice Fat Niel walking in the background as Jeff was mentioning how he's getting along fine in the background or something along those lines :P

Absolutely loved the Dean, and Abed acting as the Goblins :P

Another great episode that feels like Community should. Even with no Troy or Pierce, the show's heart is still there and I think it's proof that Dan Harmon is the main reason for that. I don't know why TV networks are constantly making such stupid mistakes. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results, but they make these decisions on a regular basis. And that's just on the micro, individual-show level. On the macro level they are just sticking their heads in the sand (just like the music and movie industries) and trying to make hay while the sun shines ... well, to be more correct, trying to keep the sun in the sky as long as possible and desperately steal all the hay they can get. No foresight at all.

But back to this episode, there were so many good moments and any time David Cross is on the screen, I'm gonna laugh. I actually thought the scene when he and Hickey had the big argument about the kid's birthday party came across really perfectly as well. I actually believed it. Also, "I punch him in the heart" is a pretty hilarious attack move.
 
Loved it.

Having Dean Pelton in this episode was so good, I thought this was Hickey's best episode, and David Cross wasn't that bad either.

The best thing about this episode, was that, the main characters were brushed aside, and it was actually Dean Pelton and Hickey who carried it, yet still retained it's awesomeness.

Maybe there is hope left.

You could pretty much just skip season 4 if you wanted to.

Halfway through season 4 should be enough. No one should put themselves through all of that. Could probably start season 5 and not miss any running themes I don't think

Season 3 is probably the best season of the show overall

Except that's not how it happened at all.

For me it's when the show pulled everything together. Into a very cohesive season, I didn't think that 5 episodes or so into the season but by season's end I was very happy with the over arch of that season. More so than season one and two. But only just.

As I said to a mate at Uni the other day, just completely skip the absolute crap that is season 4.

To be honest I enjoyed the arc at the end where Chang kidnapped the dean and ran the school into the ground, mainly because I hate the dean.

All my mates love him but I don't. I don't like how he comes in at the start of each episode since season 3 wearing drag.

My favourite characters are Chang, Abed, Annie and Pierce. Can't stand Britta... the worst character on the show by far.

Jeff and Travis are 'meh'. Shirley plays the token Christian chick well.
