Earlier today the battery of my laptop came lose accidently and after sticking it straight back in I turned on my laptop to make sure everything was there, only to have all my files gone.
Turns out everything was still there although it had all just been moved into the computers storage for some reason.
So I start transferring some of the files from storage back to the desktop (movies, school work etc.) but I only got a bit done before I went out.
When I got home later on, I turn my computer back on and somehow the computers returned to its original state. The strange is that the files I had transferred from storage onto the desktop earlier are now compltely gone.
Pretty weird stuff, so any help would be appreciated.
