Computer Problem

Hey. I have got this computer problem that is really bugging me. When i try to open some different links, all i hear is a beep from the computer, and then nothing, the link doesnt open, this is only with some links, but why does it happen? Ive run norton, adaware and an online scan, and theyve returned with nothing. Ive got no idea what to do? Can anyone shed some light on this? Or suggest a solution?

Try to run a repair of IE from add/remove programs

Hold down ctrl+alt+del for a couple of seconds and that should fix it.

Task Manager fixes everything.

I am using a mac..i just remember from windows98.

Are you running a popup killer?

I've noticed that some are a little over-zealous and try to close legitimate IE windows as well.

If so, turn it off and see if that makes a difference.

Do you have a system restore point? If not, it won't work.
