Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me with this problem I've been having for a while.
My computer every once and a while will start up then straight away before it even loads, it gets the Blue-Screen.
(I don't know what the error code is and I don't know how to check.) This happens about 2-3 times during the start up then my computer starts to work. And then It will work fine until the next day when I turn it on again.

Also after a while when I'm on the PC, it slow down and will stay slow until I restart it. And I'm not running any big applications at the time. Also
my mouse will slow down and then Firefox will run super slow and to stop it I have to go to task manager and "End process". I think the problem mite be that I don't have a big enough Hard Drive I only have 74.5 GB of total space on my C:\ drive.
And on my D:\ drive I only have 37.2 GB of total space.

My computer spec are:

Chip type: GeForce GTX 275

If you can help that would be appreciated very much.

I haven't done anything yet because I'm in the middle of exams :(.
When I'm done with that hopefully I will buy a new hard drive and Ram.

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated!

Well I got the new Hard drive and Ram and re-installed vista, and I'm still getting random restarts and blue screens, and sometimes vista won't even start up.
It's really frustrating and I don't know what else to do. Any more suggestions?
(bought a 1 TB SATA hard drive and 4gb DDR2 1066 ram)

Before your pc started to get blue screens did you upgrade any hardware things such as graphics card? It may be something like your power supply does not give your pc enough power.

Yep Power Supply can cause this.

What psu do you currently have? I also have a q6600,4gig of ram,2 hdd and a 9800gt. When i got a new case i asked if the power supply that the case came with would be with was enough and the dude told me it was plenty (it was a 430w psu). I had a few bsod (blue screen of death) and then after about 2 or 3 days my graphics card broke and it was brand new. I now have a 650W and everything is working fine.

Thanks for the replies guys. I cleaned everything when I put in the new HDD and Ram and I only got my GTX 275 about 1-2 months ago.
My power supply is 600w I believe. (I looked on the power supply inside my computer and it had a big 600 on it and I think that's it.) Should I upgrade that?

Nah i think 600w should do, also depends on the watts going into the rail or something like that but i am not quiet sure though. i would recommend going onto this site http://forums.overclockers.com.au and asking the guys on there. A whole lot of computer guys who know the answers for everything and i think they may be a bit more helpful then most of us.

Yeah i know what you mean, i currently have 1 hdd which has vista and it is dodgy and freezes up every hour or so and my other which has windows 7 seems to have got a virus which the whole explorer freezes up within 2 minutes so i cant do anything on it

The joy of computer problems...

Well, it's working again. No problems no nothing (So far).
It turns out that I had the wrong Ram  (Or so my computer guy told me).

Many thanks for the help fellas have a good and safe holiday!
