He should be able to still improve if he's good enough, despite the setback.

it's the rfc way, gag ball and plastic wrap with duct tape the supporters mouths to make them think that the whole list is fit and in full training when in reality there are 5-7 injured players

Minor knee surgery seems like an oxymoron to me.

Arthroscopy is quick and minimally invasive. But they're still cutting holes in you and rooting around.

Hardest part of pre-season conditioning seems to be pre-Christmas.... so maybe this might help freshen him up. he's probably not used to working so much during a pre-season!
