I really rate this young man as a future star for AFC, but I have a couple of concerns about his technique at the moment:
1. His attack on the contested ball is fearless, but his first instinct at times is to dive on the ball, then try to stand up and shrug off the tackles. I'd like to see him stay on his feet and try to grab some of those balls cleanly and use his pace to break away.
2. His intensity is great, but can get in the way of his skills. Over the last couple of weeks, his game could have been so much better if he had not been quite so tight when trying to mark. He has spilled several chest marks and a couple of golden opportunities to take grabs in the goal-square through "hard hands".
I hope he finds that balance between grunt and finesse that will elevate his game even further.

) is the ability to scoop up the ground ball at pace without breaking stride. It's certainly a nice alternative to diving on the ball. However, I agree with you, he does do it a little bit too much.
) to live with him. He wants to mentor the young fella a bit and work with him on game prep etc...
