Big Congratulations goes to Scott Burns, who has been a great servant of our club for so long.

Tonight he moved into 5th spot on our all time games list, passing the immortal Jock Mchale.

And what a game he had, performed the way a Collingwood captain should, lead from the front, and lead us to a famous victory.

Burnsy has been lost a bit in how good Bucks was and the aura he had, but Burnsy will end up 3rd on the all time list if he plays on next year, behind only the Great Gordon Coventry and the inspirational Tony Shaw, quite an achievement.

Congratulations Scott Burns, 262 sensational, gutsy, inspirational games.

His first qtr last night was the best ive seen by him since he twenties, and he has played some good games.

Great stuff captain

Didak and Rhyce being out will really let some people step up to the plate and Burns is one of them, still a genuine competitor and rather fun to watch him take it up to St Kildas often over hyped mid field. I reckon a few teams will underestimate the Pies without Didak/Shaws x 2 and may pay for it. Has really got me thinking, (unusual in itself) but it is early days yet.
