Tonight at the Hall of Fame function, Serge Silvagni was re-inducted into the hall of fame as a legend of Carlton, following his son Stephen.

THE son is supposed to follow the father, not the other way around — but that didn’t matter when Sergio and Stephen Silvagni were united as official Legends of Carlton.

For Serge, 77, the honour has been a long time coming.

Ever the humble man, he said to the audience that "he was never that good. I was a battler".

Started playing before I was born and I was around 7 when he retired so don't remember him. Much. I remember long sleeves, but that could just be vision I've seen in later life.
