Congratulations go out to my main man, Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs for bringing home the 2001-2002 MVP title.

Seriously deserves it for what he brings to his club, and putting his stamp on the game and even more so, putting the Spurs on his back and carrying them once again to the playoffs with the support cast..

Had some competion in Kidd. Both could have taken it as they both make players around them better, but i'm pleased for Tim, who has had a tough few weeks with his father's passing.

Good onya Duncan!

Get Stuffed. Jason Kidd is the true MVP. Duncan was class this season, no doubt, but Kidd was a class above this year.

I reckon there is conspiracy against the Nets this season. How the hell Byron Scott didn't get the coach of the Year is beyond me, and now Kidd not getting the MVP. We need Mulder and Scully to work this one out.

yeah... i think kidd should have won MVP this season...

but, no need for mulder and scully to figure out coach of the year... rick carlisle! did it with a worse playing list at detroit... a great home AND away record too !

No doubt. Rick Carlisle turned Detroit into potential Eastern Conference Champs. Doesnt really have a big name player either.

Carlisle did a great job, no doubt, but Scotts efforts with New Jersey were just sensational. Carlisle took a below average team to Semi-Finals, Scott has a very good shot at taking a below average (well they were last year) team to the NBA Finals.
